    • Backup Rings: Installed behind primary seals, backup rings provide support and prevent extrusion of primary seals under high pressure.
    • Cushioning Seals: Placed at the end of the stroke in hydraulic cylinders, cushioning seals absorb energy and reduce impact forces to prevent damage.

    • Hydraulic seals are made from various materials depending on the specific application requirements, including rubber (such as nitrile, neoprene, or silicone), polyurethane, PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), and thermoplastic elastomers.
