Compression stainless Banjo fittings

Compression stainless banjo fittings are commonly used in hydraulic systems, particularly in automotive applications such as brake lines. These fittings consist of a banjo bolt, which has a hole through its center, and a banjo fitting, which is a hollow, cylindrical piece with a flange at one end. The hydraulic hose or tubing is inserted into the hollow portion of the banjo fitting and secured with a compression ferrule or olive, and the banjo bolt is tightened down onto the flange, compressing the ferrule against the tubing and creating a seal.

Stainless steel is often chosen for these fittings due to its corrosion resistance and durability, especially in environments where exposure to moisture or harsh chemicals is a concern. The compression design ensures a tight and reliable connection, critical in hydraulic systems where leaks can lead to loss of pressure and system failure.

These fittings are available in various sizes and configurations to accommodate different hydraulic system requirements, and they are widely used in automotive, industrial, and aerospace applications where high-performance fluid transfer is necessary.
